Acceptable use
SKYTAL acceptable use rules: prohibited conduct, enforcement measures, and how to report violations.
1. Scope
These rules apply to all users of skytal.ru and the SKYTAL messenger.
Using the service means you agree to follow this document, the Terms of Use, and applicable law.
Interface language choice does not change user obligations or determine jurisdiction.
2. Permitted use
- Personal and business messaging within the law
- Voice and video calls between participants with service access
- Sharing files and media within application functionality
- Use by organization employees with a valid invitation
3. Prohibited conduct
- Distributing unlawful content, calls to violence, extremist materials, or child sexual abuse material
- Fraud, phishing, impersonation of another person or organization to deceive
- Spam, unsolicited advertising, and mass invitations without recipient consent
- Distributing malware, exploiting vulnerabilities, or unauthorized access to systems
- Attempts to bypass encryption, intercept other users' traffic, or interfere with service operation
- Violating intellectual property, privacy, or personal data rights of third parties
- Use for activity prohibited by sanctions or export controls of applicable jurisdictions
- Automated data collection (scraping) or load testing without written operator consent
4. User content
You are responsible for content you create and transmit through SKYTAL. The operator does not pre-moderate all messages due to the E2EE architecture.
Upon a substantiated complaint or lawful request, the operator may take measures within technical and legal limits, including restricting access, blocking accounts, or cooperating with authorities.
The operator does not guarantee removal of content from other participants' devices.
5. Security and integrity
- Do not share invitation codes and keys with third parties without understanding the risks
- Report device compromise or suspicious activity immediately
- Do not use modified clients if they compromise service integrity or other users' security
6. Enforcement
For rule violations, the operator may warn users, limit features, revoke invitations, block devices, or terminate access.
Measures are applied considering severity, recurrence, and legal requirements. Decisions may be appealed by contacting the operator by email.
The operator cooperates with authorities when lawful grounds and proper requests exist.
7. Reporting violations
If you encounter a violation of these rules, email info@skytal.ru with the subject line "SKYTAL rules violation".
Include participant identifiers, event time, and a description where possible. Report confidentiality is maintained within reasonable limits.
